When is the most important Olympics? It’s the final leg of the London Olympic Games, so I’m wondering.

But in the meantime, take a moment to reflect on the most important games we’ve played. They’ve been the most significant ones we’ve ever played. So they have to count.

Of course, not everyone played the Olympics. Some of us won. But a handful of us lost. Some of us missed out.

Let’s look at those first.
